Two years ago today the Herald Sun opened their Sunday Extra with this article. Now, two years on we as a Club are one of three clubs (ten teams) state wide chosen to participate in an innovative research study investigating the association between headgear use and sports concussion and other injuries in collaboration with the Australian Football League (AFL), Monash Institute of Cognitive and Clinical Neurosciences and The National Trauma Research Institute.
Our U11 Chapman and U11 Girls team are helping feed back information to this study on none or any injuries received during games.
