A massive achievement for our Sharks Youth Girls and Colts with four players announced in the YJFL 2018 Team of the Year.
Congratulations Georgia Byrne and Bridgette Fox from the Youth Girls team and Bailey Beamish and Lachlan Purcell from the Colts.
Both the YJFL Team of the Year went up against the Oakleigh Chargers Development Team at Bulleen Park on Wednesday the 12th of September.
The YJFL Youth Girls had a convincing win with the final scoreboard hitting an amazing 101-0 with both our girls kicking a goal. Well done to Bridgette and Georgia! And a quick congratulations to another of our own – Rosie Dodds who is in our U16 girls’ team but also played in the Oakleigh Chargers team on the night.
The YJFL Colts also had a win! The score board was much closer, but they still got up with a win by three points! Congratulations to Lachie and Bailey who played really well.
Well done to all the players who represented the Yarra Junior Football League in the 2018 Team of the Year!
